she's so much in pain.
with no one to lean on to.

left her all alone...

but then she understands.

now, she's really awake.
tired of those foolish dreams.
tired of those fake smiles.
she needs to face it.
alone.

for she's the only one who can help herself.


one day, that smile will not be a sad smile anymore.

she hopes. she wishes.


and I hope she really can.

it was like an ordinary day yesterday.. but i know something's gonna happen..
ever since, my mood each time i wake up was a sign on how's my day gonna be like.. i felt there would really be something wrong..

i was OL early in the morning, just after i woke up.. but unusually, i turned my computer off after just some minutes..

i spent the rest of the day inside his room, holding his hand.. he was about to leave us, i knew it.. he keeps on saying "i'm tired. i wanna go".. i was crying.. i just can't take it.. the way i see his face, his difficulty in talking and breathing despite his oxygen, the way teardrops started to fall from his eyes.. we kept on pleading, "lolo, let's wait for them ah.. parating na sina tito.." he just nodded.. we were only 4 in the house.. me, my lolo, and our helpers at home.. my dad and my sister was in st.luke's for my dad was having some exams in his heart.. my lolo's private nurse was not there anymore.. we didn't know what to do..

good thing, my tito came.. then my dad and my sister.. then my other cousins.. then my other tito.. then my tita and cousin.. we were almost complete, except for my mom.. we didn't tell her what's the real state of my lolo because we knew she's gonna be hysterical..

everything was fine until the evening.. my little cousin was even inside lolo's room singing.. and we were able to see him smile.. a big smile.. we can even call it a silent laugh.. his face was different that time.. he's happy, happy indeed.. and then it was the end..

it was a very long journey for him.. the doctor said it was really a miracle that he was able to reach december.. though he will not be here with us this christmas, we're able to accept it.. his life ended with a smile. though he's gone, we know he's happy.. he's now with my lola.. they're now with God..


life's is short, this cliche is true. so we must remember to make each moment count.. live life to the fullest.. time spent is time lost, so make the most out of it..




Merry Christmas everyone.. and Happy New Year.. i won't be able to go online for awhile. so baka hindi ko kayo ma-greet.. text niyo na lang ako.. sun or globe, whatever. pakilala lang kayo.
